Digital document retention that holds up by law.
Invoices, registers, contracts and tax documents preserved digitally with full legal validity, through a qualified provider listed in the AgID Marketplace. We handle activation, configuration and ongoing support.
A digital document, on its own, isn’t enough.
Saving a PDF on a server or an external drive is not compliant retention. For an electronic document to keep its legal value over time, Italian law (the Digital Administration Code, CAD) requires specific guarantees: integrity, authenticity, readability and retrievability for the entire retention period.
Legal value over time
Compliant retention ensures the document remains enforceable against third parties and valid in an audit, even years later.
Ten years of obligation
Invoices, accounting books and tax documents must be kept for the ten years required, in a format that stays readable and verifiable.
Qualified provider
Namirial is listed as a Qualified Retention Provider in the AgID Marketplace: technical responsibility for the process sits with a recognised body.
Retrieving, not just storing
An archive you cannot query is useless when an inspection arrives. Full-text search and case folders exist precisely for that.
Two levels, depending on what you need.
Namirial offers two routes. The difference isn’t the quality of the retention, which is the same: it’s how much you want the system to do beyond preserving. We assess together which one makes sense for you.
Namirial Archive — the retention service
The cloud service dedicated to archiving and compliant retention. The choice for those who already have their management systems and want to add the missing piece.
What it includes: full-text search across documents, organisation into folders by category, month, year or client, multi-company management from a single interface, unlimited users with granular permissions, activity audit trail, access from mobile too.
LegalSolutionDOC® — the document hub
A broader platform that adds document lifecycle management on top of retention. The choice for those who want a single environment for tax and legal documents.
What it adds: electronic invoicing towards the Italian public administration, businesses and Europe, the Order Sorting Node (NSO) for healthcare, the SafeDox module for documents holding sensitive data protected by encryption, plus APIs and SDKs to integrate everything into existing systems.
Both are GDPR compliant and rely on the same qualified retention process. If you don’t know which one you need, that is exactly the kind of choice we help with before asking you to sign anything.
If you produce tax documents, this concerns you.
The retention obligation doesn’t depend on company size but on the type of document. These are the cases we meet most often.
Anyone issuing e-invoices
Electronic invoices must be retained compliantly: passing through the exchange system alone does not discharge the obligation.
Anyone keeping mandatory registers
Accounting books and digital registers require the same retention as tax documents.
Anyone handling special waste
Digital load and unload registers and waste forms must be retained properly. See the dedicated section below.
Anyone handling sensitive data
Medical practices, professionals and healthcare organisations, for whom the dedicated encrypted module exists.
Anyone working with public bodies
Suppliers to the public administration, with electronic invoicing and NSO.
Anyone with multiple sites
Groups and multi-company organisations wanting a single archive governed centrally.
Two different things, that belong together.
We want to be explicit here, because this point creates misunderstandings that cost money.
What EasyWaste does
EasyWaste, our waste management software, keeps the load and unload registers, generates the waste forms and transmits data to RENTRI within the required deadlines.
What it does not do
Compliant retention of the documents produced is a separate service and is not included in the EasyWaste subscription. They are two different contracts.
Why you still need it
The obligation to retain those documents properly stands regardless of the software you produce them with. It is not optional by law, only optional as a supplier.
Your two routes
If you already have a compliant retention service, you keep using it. If you don’t, or you aren’t sure you do, we can activate it alongside EasyWaste.
The question we always ask EasyWaste clients is simple: where are your registers and waste forms compliantly retained today? If the answer doesn’t come immediately, it’s worth checking before an inspection does.
Namirial Partner, one point of contact.
The retention itself is guaranteed by Namirial as a qualified provider. We are the partner who makes it work for you: choosing the solution, activating it, integrating it with your systems and supporting it over time, with one person to talk to instead of a generic help desk.

Preliminary assessment
We look at which documents you actually produce and which carry a retention obligation, before sizing the service.
Activation and configuration
We handle activation and set up folders, users and permissions to match how you are organised.
Integration with your systems
We connect retention to the systems you already use, EasyWaste included, through the available APIs.
Training for the people using it
Whoever files and searches documents needs to manage without calling us every time.
Ongoing support
We stay the reference point for questions, checks and document production requests.
No pushing
If you already have adequate retention in place, we tell you so instead of selling you a duplicate.
Do you know where your documents end up?
Together we check which documents you are required to retain and whether you are genuinely covered today. If you already are, we confirm it and that’s the end of it.
