Liburna SDS. Smart Delivery System.
The intelligent tool for regulatory compliance, developed by BIT Informatica for Flashpoint S.r.l.: automatic delivery of all the technical and legal documentation required by EU regulations, certifying every single delivery along the entire supply chain.
Complete legal coverage
Every delivery is certified and time-stamped for regulatory purposes.
Lower costs
Zero printing, zero manual handling, zero data loss.
Supply-chain management
A single hub for all suppliers and recipients.
Cloud solution
Always up to date, accessible anywhere, no installation.
Document management has never been so critical.
Placing products on the European Union market obliges companies to carefully manage all the technical and legally relevant documentation for every product supplied. The stakes are high: penalties, product recall, civil liability.
Email and attachments aren’t enough
No proof of receipt, no version control, a risk of incomplete deliveries or outdated documents.
Impossible control over long supply chains
More suppliers, more recipients, different documents for each country: manual management becomes unmanageable.
Constantly evolving regulations
REACH, RoHS, CLP, Deforestation, lithium batteries: every update means updating all the documents already delivered.
How it works.
Five automatic steps separate the supplier from the recipient — no email, no attachments, no errors.
Supplier
Uploads the technical and legal documents to the platform once.
Automatic management
The system automatically links documents to products and recipients.
Private cloud area
Documents are stored in a secure area, always up to date and versioned.
Link / QR / Code
The recipient receives a direct link, QR code or barcode to access them.
Recipient
Accesses all the up-to-date documents, with certified tracking of receipt.
Simultaneous delivery
All the documents that characterise the product delivered at a single moment, per the applicable regulations.
Aggregated, dated view
A complete history of all deliveries per client, with date and content certified for legal purposes.
Full traceability
Every delivery is certified: who received what, when and in which version of the document.
Over 20 types of document managed.
A single platform covers the entire spectrum of technical and legal documentation required to place products on the market in Europe and worldwide.

Why switch to Liburna SDS.
Compared with traditional email-based management or single-purpose tools, Liburna SDS guarantees total coverage with a single platform.
Legal coverage
Every delivery is certified, dated and tracked. In the event of an inspection or dispute, you have complete documentary proof of what was communicated, to whom and when.
Lower costs
Eliminates printing, manual handling of attachments and system redundancy. A single upload serves all recipients, even for very long supply chains.
Supply-chain management
A single hub to manage suppliers and recipients across the whole chain, regardless of its length or the number of countries involved.
Cloud-native solution
No installation, no maintenance. Always updated to the latest regulations. Accessible anywhere, with a private area for each client.
We built it. We know it inside out.
Liburna SDS is developed by BIT Informatica on behalf of Flashpoint S.r.l. We don’t sell a black box: we’re the authors of the code, we know every feature and we can adapt the platform to your company’s specific needs.
Development and customisation
We extend the platform with tailored features, custom workflows and integrations specific to your sector.
Integration with management systems and ERP
We connect Liburna SDS to the systems already in use (management systems, WMS, PIM, ERP) with direct APIs — no intermediaries.
Onboarding and configuration
Complete setup: product structure, document rules, supplier and recipient profiles, from day one.
Technical support directly from the developers
When you have a problem, you talk to the people who wrote the code — not a call centre. We’re in Montecatini Terme, operating across Italy.
Liburna SDS: the questions we hear most.
Why is sending documents by email not enough?
Because email leaves no proof of receipt, does not control versions and does nothing to stop a recipient sitting on an outdated document. Across a long supply chain, with several suppliers and recipients and different documents per country, manual handling becomes unmanageable far sooner than people expect.
What does it mean that every delivery is certified?
That every single send leaves a dated, defensible record: who received which document, in which version and when. That is the difference between claiming you sent a document and being able to prove it.
Which regulations does it cover?
The technical and legally relevant documentation required to place products on the European Union market, with references that change over time: REACH, RoHS, CLP, deforestation, lithium batteries. The point is not the list, which keeps growing, but that each update also means realigning documents already delivered.
Who develops Liburna SDS and who owns it?
We at BIT Informatica develop the software for Flashpoint S.r.l. So we know the product from the inside, but the service itself belongs to Flashpoint: better said upfront than later.
Does anything need to be installed?
No, it is a cloud solution: always up to date, accessible anywhere, with no installation or maintenance on your side.
The documentation obligations referred to on this page arise from European Union law and apply to anyone placing products on the EU market, including companies headquartered outside the Union. This page is for information and does not constitute legal advice: an assessment of your specific position should involve a professional qualified in the field.
